Neighbours of Olde Oakville

Giovanni and Concetta Guglietti, along with their four sons, Silvio, Riccardo, Marco and Johnny, have lived and worked in South-East Oakville since 1965. They have owned and operated a number of businesses within the area since then, including Main Lumber, Melrose Investments, and of course, Rosehaven Homes - the latter two of which are still based in South-East Oakville today.

With such a rich history in the area, it is no surprise that the Guglietti family is as passionate about giving back to the community as they are about their businesses. They regularly contribute to community organizations and use their platforms to spread the word about a variety of worthy causes, including Oakville Trafalgar New Hospital, Kerr Street Ministries, Lighthouse Grieving Program, Habitat for Humanity, Princess Margaret Cancer Center, Sick Kids, Joseph Brant Hospital Burlington, St Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton, and the We Love You Connie Foundation to name a few.

When given the opportunity to be featured in Neighbours of Olde Oakville, The Guglietti Family was thrilled to have the chance to discuss their involvement in the community that they have called home for so many years. In the face of COVID-19, Oakville’s residents have banded together to support the most vulnerable, and the Guglietti family is proud to have done their part. Their hope is to inspire their peers to come together and contribute in whatever ways they can, and to help push toward the greater good.
