12 Can’t Miss Patios Near Rosehaven’s New Communities

Patio season is officially upon us. It also happens to coincide with house-hunting season for many prospective buyers. If you’re considering a new Rosehaven home (and, humbly, you absolutely should) here are a few patios we think you should check out while you’re exploring your (potential) future new neighbourhood.

From seafood on the beach just outside downtown Hamilton, to breathtaking views of the Caledon countryside at a contemporary fine dining restaurant, here are our picks for our favourite al fresco dining experiences.

1. Barangas on the Beach

   Located on Van Wagners Beach, Barangas boasts one of Ontario’s most expansive lakefront patios and an unforgettable atmosphere. Enjoy Greek and Mediterranean cuisine with stunning waterfront views.

2. Gown & Gavel

   Situated in historic Hess Village, Gown & Gavel offers a vibrant patio experience nestled between two renovated Victorian buildings. It’s the perfect spot for casual outdoor dining and ice-cold drinks.

3. Mulberry Coffeehouse

   Housed in a historic building on James Street North, Mulberry Coffeehouse features a charming patio where you can enjoy organic coffee, handmade eats, and local craft drinks. It’s also been featured in a few movies.

4. Aberdeen Tavern

   Set in a former bank building, Aberdeen Tavern is a charming old spot with a hidden gem of a patio. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy their vintage cocktails and locally sourced dishes.

   Authentic Jamaican food just a few minutes from home, Taste of the Grille also features a nice patio where you can enjoy the warm weather with the island-inspired flavours.

1. The Vista by Chef Denis

   Part of Mount Alverno Luxury Resorts, The Vista offers contemporary fine dining with a focus on traditional Canadian cuisine infused with French influences. The patio provides breathtaking views of the rolling hills and countryside.

2. Villa Caledon Inn

   Nestled in Caledon East, Villa Caledon Inn offers a rustic dining experience. The patio features plenty of lush greenery and natural light, making it the perfect place to share a meal.

3. Caledon Hills Brewing Co.

   A family-run operation where the brewmaster hand-crafts every batch, producing primarily German-style beers. Enjoy a pint and a meal in their beautiful church-turned-brewpub in Palgrave.

Oakville, home of Ivy Rouge.

1. 7 Enoteca

   Located in downtown Oakville, 7 Enoteca offers authentic Italian cuisine. Their two-tier patio provides a delightful atmosphere to enjoy wood-fired pizzas and an expansive Italian wine list.

2. Harpers Landing

   Since its opening in 2013, Harpers Landing has become a beloved community hub, featuring beautiful patios facing south and west with a bright and welcoming ambiance.

3. Ritorno

   Ritorno is a fixture of North Oakville’s emerging dining scene with homemade pastas and classic entrees. In addition to a great patio, if you bring a picture of your nonna (grandmother) they’ll put it up on their Nonna Wall, a tribute to all the amazing women in their lives.
