Ivy Rouge is a Bottle-Free Community - A First for the GTA

Sustainability is made easy at Ivy Rouge in Oakville. Rosehaven Homes is proud to be one of a few select GTA homebuilders that have started to push for bottle-free living in our new home communities, thanks to the innovative products from Best Water Technology (BWT). With this built-in system, ordinary tap water is turned into clean, high-quality, drinkable water that is safe and great tasting. The state-of-the-art system is a key component in creating bottle-free communities across Southern Ontario, and Rosehaven is thrilled to be one of the first builders to be able to introduce it to the market.

In a Toronto Sun article that dives into our bottle-free zone initiative at Ivy Rouge, Dianne Daniel spoke with the BTW Canadian ambassador, John Priolo, about just what the BWT Woda-pure system means for homeowners at Ivy Rouge. He noted that the over-arching goal isn’t just to make water taste great, which it will, but to change the way that consumers and homeowners interact with drinking water, one glass at a time. By providing simple access to fantastic drinking water from a tap, we are one step closer to eliminating the need for plastic water bottles entirely.

We hope to see this sort of sustainability-focused thinking and innovation become the standard in homebuilding in the future. For now, it is something that we are incredibly proud to offer at Ivy Rouge in Oakville. Located at Sixth Line and Burnhamthorpe, Ivy Rouge is poised to be the best new family destination in North Oakville. Located just a short drive from Highways 403, 407 and the QEW, Ivy Rouge residents can make the most of life in Oakville while still staying connected to the rest of the GTA. An array of shops, restaurants, golf courses, sports complexes, recreation centres, schools, parks, trails and more surround this stunning collection of townhomes and singles. With the BWT Woda-pure in-line filtration system being included in each Ivy Rouge home, residents can fuel their active lifestyles while reducing their consumption of single-use plastics.

The sales team at our presentation centre, located at 471 Dundas Street West in Oakville, is knowledgeable and prepared to help you take the first step toward more environmentally friendly living at Ivy Rouge.
